Here’s a closer look at We Will, a tune by Gilbert O’Sullivan. I posted a playthrough video in my earlier blog, and in this video I show you how I wrap my fingers around the many chord shapes in my arrangement of the song. I also talk through the unusual chord changes, and offer a harmonic analysis. Most modern pop tunes have four, or maybe five chords. This one has over twenty, so there’s a lot of analysing to be done!
