I’ve loved this song for a long time. It’s one of those tunes that makes you want to climb up onto the table so you can properly belt out that last verse.

I began working on the guitar part for this months ago, just for something to do. I had a simple piano score which I began adapting for guitar. It took a while, but eventually I had a fairly decent playable version.

I don’t know exactly when I decided to record a vocal part for it (or why – I’m no Tommy Korberg or Josh Groban!) but soon after the guitar part was finished I was arranging vocal harmonies in my head so I figured the best thing to do would be to record a version, because at that point, why the hell not?!

So, with a little (actually a LOT of) help from Luke Devaney at Blue Room Recording Studio, I must admit I’m very pleased with the final result.
