Part 3 of the Sweet and Lockdown series of videos.

As with all the performances in this series, there are some slight differences between the transcription – either for aesthetic or practical reasons. (Some phrases were too fast for me to play so I occasionally had to rework them! And some lines were written in awkward fingering positions so I altered them, but tried as much as possible to keep the same notes and phrasing.)

A NOTE ABOUT THE TRANSCRIPTION: The version I played is shorter than the transcribed version. The version in the film is the same as what I play in the video above. The extra bars would have been recorded for the filming of the scene, and then cut out for whatever reason (Woody Allen’s a demanding director!). The transcription is of the full, unedited performance, but I don’t know where they got their hands on it, because it’s not on the soundtrack album.

So to follow what I play in the transcription, play bars 1 to 4, then skip to bar 19 and play to the end.
